Living in the Lower Mainland, we have our fair share of rain in the year and my experience has been that most kids generally don't care too much about it, while we as adults let it get us down more easily.

As a parent with outdoor-loving kids that crave the regulation many outdoor activities provide, I've had to try and embrace the rainy days and see the potential - perhaps even the joy and opportunity in them.

In a metaphorical sense, Embrace The Rain is really about allowing the difficult times or challenges we encounter in life to shape us and our kids, and ultimately to make our families stronger.

ETR is about coming alongside children and parents and being their support or umbrella that makes it possible for them to truly Embrace The Rain.
